Tasmanian Volleyball Academy (TVA) is a Tier 1 program of the JDP open to athletes from Grade 7 to Grade 12. It is the entry level of the junior development program, which means that beginners will start their volleyball journey in these sessions.
Being entry level, the program is used as a platform to launch athletes into the sport by introducing the required technical skills while keeping sessions fun for all.
The responsible coaches will communicate with other program coaches on a weekly basis to keep track of progress and guarantee that the best training environment is made available for all the junior athletes.
Note - The coaches believe that for them to have an idea of the players coming through the academy program, they have agreed to coach the academy program on a rotational basis. There are enormous benefits for both players and coaches and we will be actively working to bring the academy players into our higher level programs.
