Director
Stephen Ibbott
I bring experience in all aspects of volleyball as a sport: at local, state and national level as a player, coach, referee and administrator. A professional career that started in personal, and commercial, banking led to 25 years in the public service, and has run in parallel with 30 years in various roles of volleyball administration.
My personal values include equal opportunity, equity, adaptability, resilience and willingness to work collaboratively, which speak to my longevity in volleyball and why the sport has continued to grow through recent decades. I will stand for what I believe is right and just, which includes representing and listening to all members equally.
The huge efforts of those who came before is not lost on me, which is one of the reasons I continue to give my time. Smiles on the faces of people at all levels, as they enjoy this awesome sport, is enough for me.
