Beach season continues! Welcome to another new addition to the beach calendar! 

Round 4 is our fourth major round for the beach season but it's a little bit different this year. This round we are just hosting a single competition that runs over 2 days, Men’s/Women’s pairs on the Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February.

This round will be a single division and will draw a higher entry fee ($60 per peson) than our normal rounds while offering a prize pool.

Number of teams per competition will be capped at a maximum of 16 and in intervals of 4 unless notified otherwise. Due to this pairs cap, entries to this competition is via email to beach@volleyballtasmania.com.au only and it is very likely that not all entries will be able to play which we apologise for in advance. Entry and seeding is in line with the ABVRS seeding policy which is determined by each player's best 5 competitions in the last 2 years.

Prize pool will be a percentage of total entry fees and proportionally allocated to pairs based on how many teams entered in each pair's division. Break down is as follows:

1st Place: 35% of total entry fees
2nd Place: 20% of total entry fees
3rd Place: 10% of total entry fees
4th Place: Entry fee refunded

We are excited to see you all for a new and exciting event and another great day of volleyball on the beach! We are hoping that this is a very successful competition which we can grow in future years potentially including, multiple divisions, a mixed variant, qualification required from prior comps, seeding to guarantee entry, etc.

Ticket Prices (members need to be logged into their VTas Rev Sport account):

• $60 for VTi members ($70 for non-members which includes a weekend of VTi registration)

Payment will need to be made prior to Day 1 of the competition and can be done by transferring the required payment amount (either total team amount or each player individually) to the following bank details, referencing Round 4:

Players also need to be registered with Volleyball Tasmania prior to playing. If you are a current VTas member (you typically will be if you've been playing indoor), you are already covered and can log in to purchase your Beach Event ticket.

If you are not a current VTas member, you can see non-member tickets are available (pricing above) which will cover your registration for one event. Alternatively, you can purchase a Beach membership ($40) which covers the entire beach season (twilight series and beach competitions) and expires on 31st March 2024. Note: If you are a non-member and playing muiltiple events over a single competition/round, you only need to pay the $10 registration once. Contact beach@volleyballtasmania.com.au and registrations can be merged to reflect this. If already paid, a refund can be organised by contacting the same email and providing your bank details.
