Membership - what do you get?
Upon provision of required personal details, and payment of appropriate fee(s), individuals become members of the Association (see section 6 of the Constitution). Such members may compete in sanctioned VTI events and competitions are also members of Volleyball Australia (aka Australian Volleyball Federation). Insurance cover - public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident - forms part of the provided benefits. AVF insurance policy handbook can be downloaded here.

Registered individuals or teams can also access financial assistance towards activities that are deemed to help Volleyball Tasmania achieve its strategic objectives. For example, this may assist administrators, coaches, referees or athletes to attend courses, events or competitions. Life Members
Volleyball Tasmania (VTI) has benefited greatly, over the years, from the efforts and applied knowledge of many selfless volunteers in both administration and competition management.
Prior to amalgamation with the Southern Tasmanian Volleyball Association (STVA) in November 2005, VTI had awarded several life memberships. Based on available information, the following list has been compiled (subject to amendment should further information come to light.) The STVA, at the time of amalgamation, had awarded five life memberships - which are also now recognised by VTI under its new structure and included in the list below.
