The sixth annual Tassie Masters event took place on 30 October 2010 at the Moonah Sports Centre.Divisions progressed in men's and mixed 30+ age groups. A great chance to catch up - and see who still "has it"!
As expected, there were some veeeeery close matches and I'm pretty sure most players were spent by 5:30pm. Unfortunate personnel issues put paid to the men's comp, where Phoenix had no trouble dispatching an undermanned Beaches "without Ben" after having lost to them earlier. The mixed divisions were at times hectic, but I think it's fair to say that the best performed teams on the day made it through to the semis. It was Devonport, again, represented in the final by 'Irish Setters' against Hobart/Kingston team 'Passion Fruit' but could not wrench to title back to the NW coast.
