The last State League tournament ran from March to April 2005. The number of rounds was reduced due to entries from just two domiciles.
Entries were open to teams from any Member Association.

Many congratulations to the Hobart team who ended NTVA's unbeaten run in this year's competition and took the flag on behalf of the Southern Tasmanian Volleyball Association for the second year running. Well done to all players.
The award for Most Valuable Player of the series was won by Richard Morrison, of NTVA, by a narrow margin over last year's winner Tim Byrne of Hobart. MVP votes were awarded by 1st referees and scorers.
