Minutes of a meeting of the Association held at the National Fitness Council Office 59 Collins Street, Hobart on 17/11/64 at 7.30 p.m.

        Business :
                
1.        Under Palm Strokes.        After discussion of a letter received as to the alteration to the present rules regarding the above. Moved that all balls hit underneath with two open hands are foul. Duty teams to advise all teams of this ruling.

                2.        Film.                        Meeting asked A. Andrikonus to organise the showing of the film "How to Play Volleyball" in two weeks time - 7th December.

                3.        Uniforms.                Meeting strongly suggests that this ruling be adhered to and that all captains bring this to the attention of their players.

                4.        Forfeits.                Proposed to penalise forfeiting teams by allocating 0 points as opposed to 4 points for a winning and 2 points for a losing team.

                5.         Accounts.                #55.14.0

                6.        General Business.        Moved that the opposing team be allotted 1 point for each minute or part therof by which a team is late. Amendment moved that if a team is more than 5 minutes late, it forfeits 2 points.

                7.        Duty teams.                To provide 4 officials and these be stationed in their proper positions. Resolved that referee make note of the 2 best players of each team.

                8.        Publicity officer.        Moved that W. Skelly be appointed Publicity Officer. Resolved that ball should not be kicked. To request National Fitness Council to improve the net and to protect or remove the lights above the net. Resolved that it was impracticable to accept any more teams.

                9.        Time of start of match. Moved that a team shall forfeit if it is more than 10 minutes late.
