Minutes of a meeting of the Association held at the National Fitness Council Office 59 Collins Street, Hobart on 29/9/64 at 7.30 p.m.

        Present :        A. Andrikonus (Chairman), Ervino Miezitio (Rapid Stars), M.                         Kozikas (Perkunas), G. Stepik (White Eagles), D. Smart                                 (Central), P. Murfet (Hobart High), S. Took (Secretary)

        Apologies:        The President and the A.M.P. club.

        Business :
                1.        Date of Annual Meeting.        The Annual Meeting to be held not later than the 3rd week in August.

                2.        Date of the first round robin tournament. This will be held on Tuesday the 6th October at 7 p.m.

                3.        Grading of teams.                It was decided that a Committee of 3 be appointed. Those nominated were :        P. Murfet, E. Miezitio, A. Andrikonus

                4.        Grading Matches.                It was resolved that the number of games required for grading purposes be left to the discretion of the grading committee. These games to be played over a period of 2 or 3 weeks as necessary.

                5.        Correspondence.                A Letter to the National Fitness Council reserving the Court for the period of the Competition was read by the Chariman.

                6.        Finance.                        The Treasurer stated that a banking account would be opened on behalf of the Association.

                7.        Affiliation Fees.                Team affiliation fees and players registration to be in the hands of the treasurer by 5th October.

                8.        Transfer of Players.                Team members shall play in their registered teams unless exceptional circumstances arise, when the change will be submitted to the Association Executive.
